Traditional Cuban Dishes
Ropa Vieja:
Translated as old clothes describes this traditiona cuban dish of Shreded Beef, peppers, and onions resemblins a mees of old rags. A national favorite Ropa Vieja is a rich and delicious taste of Cuba.
Cuban Sandwhich:
Said to be a common lunch food for workers in both the cigar factories and sugar mills of Cuba and the cigar factories of Key West by the 1860s. Made of sliced roast pork, glazed ham, Swiss cheese, and thinly-sliced dill pickles with mustard on cuban bread.
Arroz con pollo:
a mix of chicken with short-grained rice with safron, annatto, onion, garlic brought together to create this beloved cuban dish
